WE ARE CURRENTLY HIRING A SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR

OBJECTIVE OF THE POSITION

We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Administrator to join our IT team reporting to the IT Manager. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, servers, and networks within the organization. The Systems Administrator will ensure the uptime, performance, security, and integrity of our systems, while also providing technical support to end-users.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, software applications, and system management tools.
  • Monitor system performance and ensure availability and reliability.
  • Manage and maintain servers, storage devices, and network equipment.
  • Implement and maintain security measures to protect systems and data from unauthorized access or breaches.
  • Perform regular backups and ensure data integrity.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity.
  • Provide technical support and assistance to end-users, both remotely and onsite.
  • Collaborate with other IT team members and departments to implement new technologies and projects.
  • Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in the IT industry.
REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE 

Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
Experience
  • At least 5 years of proven experience as a Systems Administrator or similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux, and Mac) and server technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, etc.).
  • Experience with Azure administration and database administration will be desired.
  • Understanding of modern security, cloud and DevOps best practices is highly desired.
  • Familiarity with networking protocols and concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, etc.).
  • In-depth knowledge managing an enterprise environment by leveraging Microsoft Active Directory, Azure AD, Intune, and Workspace One.
  • Hands-on experience managing application virtualization platforms such as Citrix XenApp.
  • Experience in configuring and managing network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
  • Proficiency in implementing and maintaining enterprise-level firewall solutions (e.g., Cisco Meraki, Palo Alto Networks, Fortinet, Unifi).
  • Experience with enterprise backup systems and disaster recovery solutions (e.g., Veeam, Commvault, Veritas).
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA), CompTIA Server+, Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), etc.) are a plus.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

PAY TRANSPARENCY 

This position pays $90-100K annual base salary.
